About Me

Devil's Backbone Guitar Co
Devil's Backbone Guitar Company is a joint effort undertaken by Ray Wylie Hubbard and myself. Our collaboration is in the art and design of guitars. I have been building, repairing and playing guitars for 30 years. I was a columnist for Vintage Guitar magazine for about 16 years. I build custom guitars and play pedal-steel Guitars in The Beaumonts and front a trio, Shakey Jake. Ray's legacy speaks for itself.
